All Channel Master VHF/FM and UHF/VHF/FM antennas are classified according to sensitivity (i.e. fringe, suburban, etc.).
These ratings are designed to indicate at what distance from a TV transmitter an antenna provides the best reception. These ratings are based on optimum conditions over unobstructed terrain.
Factors such as the type of terrain, the number and placement of buildings along the signal path, and the height and power output of the transmitting tower will have a bearing on the choice of antenna.
